I still remember one of my professors told me dream dies first. She said, I will get frustrated because my dreams are not attainable. I should set dreams I can attain or I will not succeed. Well, from my experiences, I have come to the realization that we are the ones that stop dreaming and pushing. Hence, dreams dies.

Folks, don't let no one deter you from dreaming. As long as you are breathing, pushing, and doing the right thing or give up on you, as well as relying on God, whatever your dream is, will come true. Stay focus

I love the vintage pattern, but I fell in love as soon as I saw S9370. The reason is that this pattern has few pieces. With my busy schedule, I do not have time for design with many parts. The hardest part of this pattern is the cutting, and the easiest part is sewing all pieces with the serger. However, I made some adjustments. I made an entire dress(the Blue) and cut out the side on the Pink dress using the same pattern. Unfortunately, todays weather is not the best to show skin. So I decided to layer it up hence the black.
When using this pattern, watch out for the belt as it could throw one off-balance, but Mimi Gs video does help to solve that issue.
I will make this pattern again. It is a go-to, and thanks to Mimi G for coming out with this pattern.

I learn sewing flat drafting (hand draft). I came to the U.S. and my spouse introduced me to commercial pattern. This is one of the first set of patterns I purchased. I love the dress but the side rucching got me so nervous. I dumped the pattern in a box long time ago. Recently, I came across it. Funny enough I bought this fabric then told myself, it is time to make this pattern. I normally cut size 16 but using ITY fabric, I cut size 14 then combine it with yellow "my happy color." With years of experience I realized how easy the dress is to make. I love the way it turned out..

First time making me a jumpsuit. I fell in love with the versality of this outfit. From work to outing and just relaxing at home...well don't mind my hair I just want it that way..it brings out the street style in me 😄😄.
I used two sizes on this dress the top is size 12 and bottom is size 14 and it both work out well
I created a strap since this pattern calls for boning which I actually do not want because I need something easy to wear
The side zipper was not attached either because this fabric have a lot of stretch in it.. this is TBT pattern and am definitely making another soon...
