Jeanne Valentine (b. Paris 1899, d. 1978, Mexico) has been creating whimsical, collectible sculptures for decades, with her work quietly beloved by collectors, designers & Hollywood set decorators who seek out her unmistakable folk-art magic.

This stunning oversized hand-painted Chinese fan caught the eye of one of our lovely visitors, who told us she'd been searching for a fan just like this for quite some time. The problem? Every one she found online was priced far beyond her budget. When she spotted this beauty at Lady Buck Vintage & saw the price, she was absolutely thrilled & took it home on the spot! ❤️

Decorative Chinese fans have been admired for centuries, celebrated not only for their function but as remarkable works of art. This red Memorex Sphere CD Boombox rolled into Lady Buck Vintage & immediately caught the eye of one very stylish customer - who, by the way, MADE this adorable outfit herself! 😍🧵✨ We are constantly blown away by the creative, talented, colorful humans who walk through our doors.

Fun little nostalgia fact: these futuristic “space age” boombox designs became wildly popular in the late ‘90s & early 2000s, when electronics were finally starting to feel FUN again - bold colors, funky shapes, translucent plastics & all. Honestly? We’re here for the comeback. Y2K all the way baby! 🚀🎶
