The screwworm battle facing West Texas is real, and for so many ranchers, it feels like one more challenge piled onto an already heavy load.

This morning, as the sun came up over the pasture, I was reminded that even in the middle of uncertainty, God still paints the sky, sends the rain, and gives us another day to keep moving forward.

The struggles may be hard, the answers may not come as quickly as we’d like, but God’s faithfulness has never failed. This season will pass, just like the storms before it. Until then, we keep working, keep praying, and keep trusting.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1:9

West Texas is tough, ranchers are tougher, and God is greater than both. 🤍
