German voters just rewarded the only party that said the quiet part as a platform: stop the inflows, cut the benefits, send people home. Experts called that unelectable right up to the moment the returns arrived. The shock is not the result. The shock is that anyone still believed lectures would outrun knife crime, welfare caseloads, and neighborhoods that no longer feel German.

Mass illegal migration was sold as a moral duty. Citizens experienced it as lost housing, lost safety, and a state that scolded them for noticing. When the official parties refused to close the door, the electorate hired the one that would. That is not a fever. It is a country choosing itself after a decade of being told it was not allowed to.

The United States is running the same experiment with a different accent. Open entry plus benefits plus official denial produces the same politics. Close the border, end the magnets, run the removals. Germany just proved the public will vote for that stack when someone finally offers it. The experts can keep being shocked. The voters are finished waiting for permission.

When agonizing physical discomfort and fear begin to take over, turning to prayer can feel like the only anchor left to hold onto. One woman shared how a terrifying episode of severe chest pain and acute gastritis drove her to her knees, crying out to God not only for physical relief but for clear spiritual direction. In the quiet of her distress, a single Scripture surfaced in her mind—Romans 8:11: “And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Standing on that promise, she began speaking the verse out loud over her own frame, focusing on the reality that the very Spirit who brought Jesus from the tomb resides inside believers. Moments later, while listening to a Christian broadcast sharing stories of restoration, she placed her hand over her chest and joined in prayer with the presenter. In an instant, the sharp pain dissolved. The overwhelming anxiety that had gripped her mind gave way to a quiet, settling peace, leaving her body completely free from distress. What began as a moment of absolute desperation became a personal witness to God's tender care. Scripture shifted from words on a page into a living experience of resurrection power. The God who raised Christ from the grave is still the same God today, fully attentive to every whispered prayer.

Baytown officers received a real-time Flock alert on a vehicle tied to an armed robbery and kidnapping. They located the suspect within minutes and took him into custody. The ping produced an arrest before the trail could go cold.

Armed robbery and kidnapping are crimes that demand speed. A camera network that flags the plate and puts officers on the car in minutes turns a dangerous suspect into a person in handcuffs instead of another overnight search. Victims get the offender off the street the same day the crime occurs.

When the vehicle used in a violent felony is still moving, the window to catch the driver is measured in minutes, not hours. The system that delivers that alert and the officers who act on it are doing the work communities actually need. Cuffed on the spot is the outcome that matters.

Right beneath the famous white limestone ruins in Capernaum—the Galilean fishing town that served as the center of Jesus’ early ministry—archaeologists made a remarkable discovery. Resting directly underneath the later fourth-century structure are dark basalt stone foundations and floors that trace straight back to the first century. This lower layer places us right in the days when Jesus walked these very streets. In Mark 1:21-28, scripture records: "They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach" (NIV), where He spoke with unprecedented authority and healed a man bound by an unclean spirit. Luke 7:1-5 also speaks of this sacred gathering place in Capernaum, built with the help of a local Roman centurion. While the prominent white stone structure visible today came centuries later, scholars agree that the original dark basalt foundation below served as the public synagogue during the time of Christ. Standing on those stones means looking at the precise setting where the Savior preached, healed the brokenhearted, and declared that the kingdom of God had arrived. It brings the history of the Gospels right into focus.

Interfering with federal officers during an immigration operation isn’t “activism,” it’s obstruction. Personal ties to the original suspect don’t grant a free pass, and when someone blocks ICE from doing its job, consequences should follow without fear or favor. Pursuing charges against the widow signals a real commitment to the rule of law. Grief or political pressure can’t erase responsibility when a lawful operation is underway. Border security and interior enforcement keep communities safer, and undermining them puts the public at risk. The standard is simple: follow lawful commands and let officers work. Anything else breeds disorder and weakens the system meant to protect Americans.

Zachary Levi spent years boxed out of the industry for refusing the required politics. He is back in a film that treats Iranian terror networks as the enemy instead of a nuance problem. Hollywood’s blacklist was never about talent. It was a loyalty test. He failed it on purpose.

A September 11 release date is not subtle and should not be. The date belongs to the dead and to a country that still remembers who hit it. Studios that spent a decade lecturing audiences about which villains were allowed on screen created a vacuum. A picture that names the threat fills it. Ticket buyers have been waiting for that permission.

The industry that punished him will call the movie unsophisticated. The audience that was told to sit down will decide at the box office. Reward the actors who would not recite the script. Starve the ones who treated American loyalty as a branding risk. Levi’s return is not a comeback tour. It is a market correction. Buy the ticket if the story is the one the town refused to tell.

FAFO. Los Angeles spent a fortune on homelessness and the streets still look like a disaster. A billion dollars was supposed to get people off the sidewalk. Instead it flowed to nonprofits with little to show for it.

Taxpayers deserve to know who got paid and what they delivered. If the money was wasted, Congress is right to pull the records and put officials under oath.

Bass should answer every question on September 15. Compassion without results is just another way to burn public money. The people sleeping outside deserved better than this.

In uniform, your loyalty is to our laws and lawful orders, not a partisan cause. An airman posting up on the Capitol steps in dress blues and calling for the President’s impeachment crosses a boundary every recruit learns from day one. That boundary exists to keep the force apolitical and to protect public trust. Jason Watson learned fast that speaking out while wearing the uniform carries consequences. Multiple criminal charges and being taken into custody are the predictable results of choosing activism over duty. Military justice is doing what it should, holding him to standards so others think twice. The strength of the force comes from discipline, not partisan theater. This case makes it plain that the UCMJ applies to everyone, no matter how strongly they feel about the Commander in Chief.

🍹The Bushwacker wasn’t actually invented in Alabama, it was first mixed in 1975 at a bar in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and named after a customer’s dog 🍹.

👙But once it made its way to the Flora-Bama, the iconic beach bar straddling the Alabama-Florida line, it became the unofficial signature drink of Alabama’s entire coast.
There’s even a “Bushwacker Trail” today mapping out nearly two dozen spots along Gulf Shores and Orange Beach serving their own version. Where do you get your favorite Bushwacker on the coast?
