HAPPY 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO OUR BRAND, SMUCKY. So much has changed over the years, and the brand continues to evolve with every year that passes.

Starting this brand was scary and intimidating, and I had NO clue what I was doing or where to begin but was learning as I went just as I am to this day.

Over the years, I’ve learned so much about myself, and in many ways the brand reflects my own personal evolution. I’m so grateful for everyone who has come along for the journey and supported us so far because we are truly only just getting started.

The first photo was taken the day I sat down in my tiny studio apartment and decided to finally begin SMUCKY, April 6th, 2022. I had a million notepads around me, mapping out exactly what I wanted this brand to be and stand for. The other one was that same night, when I was on my phone signing the documents to work with our first ever production company. I could have never imagined what it would become today, and I cannot wait to see what it grows into in the future.

Every anniversary is a chance to reflect on where we started and where we’re going. I feel so lucky to be able to create while also giving back to the planet, two things that truly make up who I am and what I value most in life.

(Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac was the song used for our fashion show only months after starting this brand in 2022 so I felt it was only fitting to add to this post 🤍)

One year ago, we introduced the ‘COAST’ gown with the intention of making it a once-in-a-lifetime release.This design is more intricate than it appears, chiffon is incredibly delicate, and with 9 yards in the skirt alone, it takes four days of hand-sewing for our seamstresses to bring a single piece to life. It is a slow, intentional process that we thought we’d moved on from, but some designs refuse to stay in the archives.
We still have very limited availability of this Deadstock chiffon, but it’s up to you to decide if we bring her back for one more pre-order window
