I can hardly believe this March I will be celebrating 5 years in business! 🥳🪡 I wanted to do something special to mark this milestone, and raise some funds for an organization that means so much to me: The Prom Closet of Central Mass

The Prom Closet has recently moved into a new space and continues to grow with more than 1000 dresses available to prom-goers who may need them. With that growth comes the need for more resources so we will be donating all proceeds from our fifth birthday party to them!

We will be celebrating with desserts and laughs at The Ruth Wells Center for the Arts in Southbridge on Sunday March 1st from 4:00-6:00 pm. ✨ 4 years ✨

Four years ago today I plunked my childhood sewing machine on a desk and said- “open for business!” What resulted was the best job I’ve ever had, some of the biggest challenges I’ve overcome, and the crazy rollercoaster ride that is entrepreneurship. I am so thankful for Rose Fine Alterations but most thankful for the people who have supported me at every stage. If you have brought me a garment that was special to you in these past four years: thank you, thank you. It is my greatest privilege to share in your big life occasions and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. Here’s to four more!

Two years ago I had the privilege of tailoring Ciara’s wedding gown and getting to know her during that process. Rose Fine Alterations family- please consider donating to her family during this awful time and pray for Ciara, her twins, and husband.

‼️Today is a crucial day for Ciara. She is undergoing an MRI that will determine if there is any brain damage and, if so, the extent of it.

We do not have any updates on the twins yet, but remain hopeful.

For those unfamiliar with their story:

Pat has faithfully served the town of Rutland for over 13 years as a dispatch supervisor and firefighter/EMT. He and his wife, Ciara, were eagerly anticipating the arrival of their twins and the joy of becoming first-time parents. What should have been the happiest time of their lives turned into a heartbreaking crisis when Ciara suffered a medical emergency requiring significant intervention and is now intubated. Their twins were delivered via emergency C-section and are on ventilators with a grim prognosis.

While Ciara’s condition has remained mostly stable, the Sullivan family is in need of multiple miracles to pull through this unimaginable time. Please keep them in your hearts and prayers as they face this devastating journey together.
