•REAL talk• CHRISTMAS UPDATE 🎅🏼:
I try to keep this space happy and all about the outfits and I’m not one to rant because the logistics I have to deal with aren’t y’all’s problem! Plus, the benefits outweigh the hardships- most days 🙃
‼️Y’all, “small shoppin” (aka: owning one) is HARD.
Things I deal with daily:
•rapidly increasing shipping cost (think $8.50 to mail at $30 shirt🤦🏻♀️)
•delayed wholesale orders
•unpredictable lead times (I’m already ordering next years’ patriotic outfits)
•lost packages 😭
•going to place a bulk order only to realize that everything is out of stock
•brand new “one off” customers with unrealistic demands and expectations (I’ve blocked them and they can’t see this anyways 😂)
•non payers ‼️‼️‼️‼️
•pressure to post daily to keep the algorithm in my favor 🫠
•scammers (newest and biggest threat 😭)
•and drum roll please 🥁 🥁🥁🥁
••••factory mishaps••••
🎅🏼When I opened the box on my Christmas outfits to find my girl and boy rompers were made wrong, I felt so defeated 😭 (the white space was supposed to be bigger to allow for a customization embroidery design and name).
Christmas is my biggest season and I was so excited to offer something unique and different! Hours and days go into these designs- they aren’t something picked from a catalogue or options available, they are designed inch my inch down to the seam detail and ruffle length!
These are precious and very well made, don’t get me wrong, but they don’t meet my vision for being able to add customized embroidery 😭
So I’ve been mulling over what to do and these are my options::
****please note, the DRESSES and boy LS tee were not affected and will carry on as normal!
•for the GIRL ROMPERS, offer them without the customization (since there is no room) BUT offer a custom bow (name and mini embroidery). Price will reflect the fact that they are “blank”
•for the BOY ROMPERS, I’ll have 2 options, “blank” or add a collar mini embroidery with name- again price will be reflective of the smaller designs
•option 3 would be a GIRL ROMPER in solid green stripe or solid red stripe (not my house brand) with full space for customization (and priced for the fact that I wasn’t anticipating this additional cost and overall “blank” expense)
•so this is where I need YOU: please weigh in and let me know your thoughts! How do you feel about “blank” outfits and putting your customization in a bow, socks or not at all? Open to any and all suggestions for these precious outfits!
