Shout out to all the teachers!! I got the best surprise when I checked the mail yesterday. One of my 6th grader's teachers took the time to write this postcard to my child. I teared up not only for the praise but also for the thoughtfulness. Thank you!! vaereen.com

Today, I was blessed to receive kindness from a stranger. I was waiting for a pump to open at a busy gas station. When an opening finally occurred, I had to drive around the station so that my tank would be close to the pump. By the time I got there, someone had started to pull in. He then waved me forward. When I thanked him, he said he had seen me waiting. He made sure that I could get gas and get on my way. It made my day. Thank you, kind stranger!!
