(Located in Utah County) For example, colored paper, project supplies, or more expensive items like a smart board or reading materials. I graduated from UVU in 2011, I studied English Education where I studied the English language, literature, writing and teaching English. As I attended the education program and specifically student taught I began to have a deep appreciation for teachers. It was a
learning experience for me and I realized how hard teachers work and how many hours they put into a day as they lesson plan. I loved getting to know each student and realized the value of teaching as it is a gift that teachers willing give back to humanity. I feel gratitude for every teacher as they make our communities a better place every day. I have had several teachers throughout elementary school, junior high and high school that have influenced my life positively. I credit my education and the teachers who I interacted with on a daily basis for a large part of who I have become today. I now have 2 young daughters and my oldest who is 3 years old goes to a preschool at a local elementary school. I have asked the teachers at her school for advice and they have willingly spent time sharing ideas with me. Their willingness to help me in my own home has changed our families lives for the better and specifically my daughters as it benefits her the most. The reason I have started this boutique is to give back to a classroom. I want teachers, or anyone who knows of a teacher (Located in Utah Valley) to send me an email or personal message to tell me something they could use in their classroom. Whether it is simple items like poster boards, colored paper, markers, card stock paper, or something more expensive such as a smart board or a new set of reading materials. I want to hear of specific needs and I want to help in meeting these needs in a specific teacher’s classroom. A percentage of the proceeds of my boutique will be going back into several different teacher’s classrooms located in Utah County. I want to make a difference and give back to show my appreciation for teachers and help them in succeeding at their daily goals. I want to be a part of making a difference in students and families lives. Every time I give a donation to a school district to a specific teacher and for specific items--I will be blogging about what was given to a classroom so you can follow these teachers journey. love4learningboutique.blogspot.com
