Memorial Day is more than a long weekend, backyard cookouts, and red, white, and blue decorations—it’s a day of remembrance, gratitude, and honor.

From our family (and our doodles 🐾) to yours, thank you to those who gave all, and to the families who carry their legacy every single day. ❤️🤍💙

May we never forget that freedom is not free.

I have some orders to pack this morning and then I’m off until Tuesday! 💜😊

My brain has been on overdrive x5 for about 5+ weeks. The sudden loss of my brother-in-law, the celebration of life, my nephew’s birthday, their 25th wedding anniversary, catching up on work, my husband losing his job, starting my first class as a professor, my grandson’s & then my nephew’s kindergarten graduation, keeping up with reselling, and preparing for the performance of five dances in one night all from April 14th through last night (May 23). I didn’t fully realize how much was going on until I just wrote it out. So, even more so I am taking Monday off. I had grading written down but that’s gonna wait too. I am giving myself permission to be totally and completely off work of any kind from tonight (Sunday) until Tuesday morning. you’re probably going to have to help me remember to relax. I have some work I have to catch up on this morning and then I’m done until Tuesday morning.

Welp… apparently my insomnia came with a bonus. 😅
Couldn’t get back to sleep, checked my phone at 2 AM, and found that these vintage knight bookends SOLD on Depop! 🎉

I’ll be honest… Depop was not the platform I expected these to sell on, which makes this even more exciting. I’ve definitely noticed Depop picking up lately, and I am HERE for surprise late-night sales. 👏

or All of my bracelets were either given to me or were my Nan’s. The shoes were thrifted for resale, but when they’re a size 10 & they fit me, they’re staying with me. My feet are hard to fit. 😂
