I was asked how I make my music. I won't give away every detail, but here's the truth.

I build my own guitars. I play my own guitars. I've been playing for over 30 years.

Every Neither Dead nor Dying song starts with real performances. I record my own guitar tracks into my DAW software, then use AI to fill in the gaps. The lyrics are entirely original, with the exception of a few unreleased covers of classic hymns. Of course, just like my shirts, the songs carry the themes of undeath, rebirth, blood, and sacrifice. I write songs about sin, pain, and the filth we used to be.

The vocals are 100% AI— but they don't come from a pressing a button. They've been shaped through more than 50,000 generations to create consistent voices. I intentionally force imperfections into the performances. I make the vocals breathe, stumble, and feel human instead of sterile. I manually edit lyrics word for word, verse by verse.

Once the mix is ready, I manually cut, edit, and rebuild sections. I mix every instrument separately, layer ambient sounds or electronic sounds, and assemble the final tracks.

From there, it's traditional mastering: EQ, compression, limiting, saturation, threshold and ceiling adjustments, stereo imaging—everything that goes into a professionally mastered record.

I've recorded real music before, and I can honestly say this process takes more work than most people realize.

Why do I do this? Because it's fun!
