Products made. Signs prepped. Displays painted. Truck loaded. We are ready for tonight! Super excited to get back to Main Street Market!

We have all new products this year (most I made for last year but sadly, due to the flood, we didn’t have the market) Hopefully this year is bigger and better than ever!

This is still one of my favorite sets. A cute holo sticker paired with a matching journal clip. I can’t wait to bring these to my summer markets this year.

My local market got canceled last year due to a devastating flood. We have since rebuilt and are still rebuilding. But, the dates have been announced, plans are being made, and displays are being worked out. I can’t wait to get back out in our community.

These will be new to my market stall this year. Most of my products coming this year are new. Which is super exciting to me. I went from pretty much only selling scrunchies and key chains to mostly bookish and writer based merch. I’m looking forward to making content of how my displays have changed. Along with my products. It’s going to be a great year!

How ever you write. Pen and paper, on your phone, computer, tablet, or even a typewriter. Just write it.

Holy book sleeves Batman! Massive order going out today. First actual order of 2024 😅 Sales tend to drop off if you aren’t posting anything. And it’s safe to say I haven’t been posting at all.

I’ve been so busy with that I haven’t had a whole lot of time to work on . But thankfully I have a few loyal customers that still come back even when I’m not posting.

It’s national Notebook Day!
Handmade notebooks were “coined” in the 14th-15th century. And the first legal pad was invented by Thomas William Holley in 1888 while working at a small paper mill. He started with scrap paper and sold them out of his home. A judge from Jersey City, wanting to buy a large number of them from him, suggested he sew a piece of cardboard on the back to make it easier to write on and more durable.
Edward Podosek, an American inventor, is given credit for the spiral notebook when he started using them for his notes in 1924.
National Notebook Day was started in 2016 by a stationary company called May Designs. They encourage people to post pictures of their notebooks online and to continue to write in your notebook everyday. Be it notes. Journaling. Writing a book. What ever you use notebooks for.
Ways to celebrate this day is by making your own notebook. Be it paper and staples. Or hand stitches and bindings. Take your notebook to a new place and write. Write about what you see, smell, taste, hear, feel. Or sketch something new. Or you can read/look through your old notebooks. This one is my personal favorite. I can get lost for hours in my boxes of old notebooks.

I can’t keep everything I make… I can’t keep everything I make… I can’t keep everything I make. But dang it if I wish I could. And this notebook pairs so well with it!!

While it has come to my attention that these are actually smaller than standard travelers notebooks. I am still making covers for them. I’ll have covers for both. That way if you want a cover for the pocket notebooks I make, you have that option. Along with covers for true standard travelers notebooks.

Im hoping to release the covers along with a new line of notebooks by the end of March. (The chair pocket notebook is already in my store)

Today is the last day for pre-orders on the full sized notebooks. Without pre-orders I will only be able to order 1-2 of each at a time. So stock will be very limited for a while.
