I would like to thank everyone that had things altered in September. I donated all my earnings in September to Make-a-Wish in memory of my grandson, Ben. My goal this year was to donate more than $1,000....and with your help, I passed that! A special shout out to those of you who donated without having alterations done. It was a busy month, but it was a lot of fun. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️🎗️

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Last year all my profits for the month I gave to Make-a-Wish in memory of my grandson Ben and I am doing it again this year. Ben received a fishing boat from Make-a-Wish but unfortunately he only got to use it one summer. Cancer is hard to go through but seeing a child go through it is heartbreaking! So go through your wardrobe and see what needs to be altered and help make someone's wish come true! If you don't need anything altered, donations are WELCOME!

I love doing new challenges! Especially when they have to do with weddings!
First, I had a client ask me to turn her mom’s wedding dress into a robe she can wear on her wedding day as she gets ready. I used a pattern for the robe and adding elements from the original dress to make it special.
Then another client asked me to turn her mom’s wedding dress into a dress she could wear to her rehearsal supper.
These are both great ways to honor mom! Mother’s Day is right around the corner you know!
