After we carefully cleaned up and engraved Nannie’s tea cake recipe, we found ourselves with a little extra space on the left side of the board. The customer asked if we could fill it with a cross and what a beautiful, meaningful idea that was.

This board tells a story of faith, family, and generations gathered in the kitchen. From Nannie’s handwritten recipe to the simple cross, every detail feels intentional and full of love. The natural colors and grain of this wood are absolutely gorgeous, and they couldn’t be more fitting for a piece meant to be treasured for years to come.
