Meet the people behind Blue Sky & Grace!

If you’ve ever wondered who does what around here, we thought we’d introduce ourselves and give you a little peek behind the sawdust.

Randy is our wood guy.
He finds and procures the wood, drives us hours to pick it up, preps each piece, and handles all the finishing touches that make our products ready to leave the shop.

Jamie is our design + machine girl.
She creates the designs and runs both the CNC machine and laser, turning those ideas into the personalized pieces and products you see on our page.

But Blue Sky & Grace is what we do in our “spare time.” We use that term very loosely.

When Jamie isn’t covered in sawdust, she’s a 5th grade teacher and Randy’s high school softball assistant coach. Give her a good book, a beach chair, or a campsite and she’s pretty happy.

Randy is a high school teacher, high school softball coach, and bus driver. And somewhere in between all of those jobs, he’s also the unofficial comedian of Blue Sky & Grace. He keeps us laughing, whether we want him to or not.

Together, we’re designing, cutting, sanding, finishing, teaching, coaching, driving, and occasionally wondering why we decided we needed another hobby.

But we truly love creating things together and seeing something go from a piece of wood and an idea to something that becomes part of your home, a gift for someone you love, or a keepsake that means something special.

That’s us. ❤️

FROM DESIGN TO REALITY… WE’RE GETTING CLOSER!

Remember those new 26” cracker & cheese boards we showed you being cut on the CNC?

Here’s what they look like after rounding and lots of sanding. Look at those unique handles!

Next up… a good cleaning, oiling, and a final coat of food safe wax! This protective finish helps seal the wood, repel water and other liquids, and keep these boards looking beautiful for years to come with proper care.

And trust us, the transformation when that oil hits the wood is worth waiting for!

Pumpkintown has been RESCHEDULED! We will see you on Saturday, October 24th.

Due to incoming inclement weather, we are putting safety first and rescheduling Pumpkintown to October 24, 2026.

We care deeply about our vendors and community. With the possibility of strong winds and heavy rain, we are making the difficult decision to reschedule Pumpkintown to Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Vendors, you should have received an email with a survey at the end on if you will be attending the rescheduled date. Please remember, we are a small committee and are working as diligently as possible to get all needs addressed.

Don't throw away those old handwritten recipes.

That little piece of paper covered in stains, faded ink and familiar handwriting might not look like much... until it belongs to someone you can't ask to write it again. We can take the original handwriting from a family recipe and engrave it onto a wooden cutting board, creating a keepsake your family can treasure for years.

These make such meaningful Christmas gifts, and this will forever be one of our favorite things to make.
