How great is THIS⁉️ On April 18, Madison’s Overture Center is hosting a clothing swap to celebrate Earth Month from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the building's main lobby.

The BEST part: You don’t have to bring clothes to take clothes.

The PURPOSE is to help people in need ❤️

The free event is organized by Overture's employee-led sustainability committee, which started in 2023.

The committee had two clothing swaps amongst themselves, which is what inspired them to take the idea public!

Able to HELP⁉️ Donations can be dropped off in the lobby of Overture's Rotunda until April 18 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

In tandem with the clothing swap, DANEnet will be at the event collecting electronics to refurbish and give to nonprofits and low-income community members.

So many left over clothes and shoes today that will be donated onwards to a mom group that cover Freeport and Monroe. These clothes will be shared with more families during monthly swaps they hold.

Thanks again for all the participated and shared their clothes! Next swap date is not picked yet, but will likely be in March!

It's the end of summer, school will be starting and it's time to swap clothes!! Drop clothes off early tomorrow, Friday the 29th! Dropping the clothes off on Friday gives our volunteers time to lay everything out so the swap on Sat can start with full tables!

Swap room will be open early for drop off on Friday 9/29/25! The community room off of the library will be open to drop clothes off from 1pm until 5 pm. If there is not a swap team member there when you come in, it's OK to leave the clothes in the room. Dropping clothes off early is a great way to get everything ready to go and swap on Saturday 9/30/25!

Thank you all for a wonderful Swap! Missing from the picture was 4 boxes and one big bag of clothes already donated onwards. We have a few places we got to spread the clothes to since our leftovers were so abundant. 2nd Chapter resale, Bethel Butikk - "Boutique" and New Beginnings. Look forward to our summer swap date!
