The older I get, the more I realize what a gift it is simply to be here.

Another year to love my people, raise my babies, chase the ideas God puts on my heart, create, grow, start over when I need to, and keep becoming the woman I’m meant to be.

This last year, life taught me that none of it is promised, and maybe that’s why birthdays feel different now. I’m not afraid of the number. I’m grateful for it.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

So here’s to 39. To creating more, worrying less, loving people well, trusting God with what I can’t control, and being present for the life right in front of me.

What a privilege it is to grow older.
