I am writing this post because I am beside myself with Lennar homebuilders. My clients had contracted on a home in May and they had to cancel it in June because of his job situation changing and the economy. It was a cash transaction so Lennar asked my clients to put up $8000, and they did. After several attempts requesting their earnest money, I reached out to the sales person more than once, I’ve reached out to her manager, and I’ve reached out to the Director of sales to see if they would have any kindness in their heart to at least refund some of the 8k, however all I received was very short emails responses to my emails saying no.
I remember back in the day 24 years ago when us agents were proud to take their clients to Lennar.
Lennar used to be client and agent friendly, and accommodating. Those days are long gone.
There is 1 home builder who is #1 is my book and that is D.R. Horton.
I have worked with D.R. Horton for almost 25 years, and I have never been disappointed. They have gone above and beyond for their clients and their agents they believe in fair resolution they believe in their product and they want to make people happy. D. R. Horton sells a great house.

We closed yesterday on Christina and Timmi's home with their beautiful baby Bonnie. True history fact I worked with Christina's parents in the 80's and 90's. I sold Timmi's parents their first home early 2000. These are the precious memories I hold dear to my heart. Wishing them all the best in their new home and grateful for their business.

Please Like and share our decorated office door! The poem I revised is what is on the door. Here it is:
Twas the Night Before Christmas
REALTOR Style
Twas the Night Before Christmas, as I winked at my spouse, not a builder was stirring or finishing a house.
The bricks were placed on the chimney with care in hopes that closing soon would be here. The lenders were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of clear to close danced in their head. My loved ones in the kitchen while I wrote a contract, I’d just settled down for wine and that’s a fact.
When out on the lawn there was such chatter from a seller who said Listing my home matters! Away to the car I flew like a flash and sped down the highway knocking over some trash. The moon to the west of the new fallen snow didn’t stop my buyer from getting his dough. When what to my wondering eyes should appear but clearly a fantastic cheerful past year. With a little old closing so lively and quick…I knew in a moment it was the right pick of mortar and brick. More rapid than eagles the wire transfer came and I whistled and shouted and knew I negotiated a great numbers game. Now Sign, Now Pack, Now, please don’t Slack, On Electricity, On Water, On Gas, and Cable. To the top of the roof and bottom of the wall, I Thank you one I Thank you all. Now Dash away, Dash away, Dash away all, I appreciate your Referrals please give me a call.
