The Wattstax 73 Soul'd Out box set features the complete Wattstax collection on 12 CDs. This box set sold at $259.99 at Plaid Room Records and sold out. I was able to acquire one and have it for just $40.
Not sureI can get another at this price.

Coming to Mr. Media’s Music booth this weekend, if you are a fan of soul/funk, jazz & blues you’ll love this 12 cd box set. Limited edition of the 1972 event created by Al Bell. Performers at this event include Isaac Hayes, Albert King, Rufus Thomas, William Bell, Kim Weston & the Staple Singers. Includes 7 discs of material from the Summit Club event and other additional recordings.
Features a 76 page, full-color book with introduction by Wartstax creator Al Bell.
This sealed,never opened, box set includes the hype sticker and box and shrink are in mint condition. Plaid Room Records, my favorite record store next to Mr. Media’ Music booth, sold out of this box set at $259.99. I was only able to acquire one box set, but it will be available for just $40.
It will be prominently displayed in the booth. Doubt if I will be able to acquire another, this 54 Year old event can be yours if you get there first. I will post when I take it in(sometime before the end of the day on Friday).

stopped up at TTAM because I’ve sold some larger big ticket items. Brought in some great items that look really great in the booth. Beatlemainia framed artwork and a Budweiser/Nascar ( Darryl Earnhardt). Either would look great in a Man Cave. Also if you are a Jazz fan, especially Miles Davis- “Witch’s Brew”
I picked up a sealed copy of London Brew a jazz album with the Witch’s Brew Vibe. Best of all it’s just $25.00 lowest price in town. Stop in for some great buys

stopped by my booth yesterday to add some more things and was happy when I finished. Added some really good jazz, several more of the classic ‘70’s rock $5 albums and several others in the new alphabetized section. If you area Deep Purple fan I added two nice copies of made inJapan a great live double album and a Deep purple Live album all available for just $10 each.
i also added some great cd’s, including several Taylor Swift cd’s, which when I started Mr. Media’s Music booth I decided not to carry her music because for the most part I don’t care for much of her music. But though this is my booth I want it to be your booth and have had several customers ask about her music. So I have brought in a small amount and we’ll see how they do.

Went in yesterday to finish my reset of my booth. There will still be some tweaks but it seemed to work, had my best day this month today. Remember TTAM is closed tomorrow but let’s finish the month strong.
