I lost my wallet at my hotel in downtown ATL when I was at market. My flight was departing that afternoon & I was FREAKING out. I retraced my steps to no avail. Trying to fly without an ID is a delight (sarcasm).
When I thought all hope was lost, I went back up to the concierge, nearly in tears & the woman at the desk said “are you looking for this?”
She had my wallet. I’m not flexing but I had like $400+ in there, and it was all there. Nothing taken out. I asked the woman at the desk “who found this!? They just saved my ass! I have to fly out in a few hours.”
The person was already gone and to this day I always think of that act of kindness. It doesn’t seem like much but it reassured me that good people exist.
A lot of you know me as a smart ass & crazy, but I always try to pay it forward as a repayment to that mystery woman in ATL. So, thank you. Whoever you are ❤️
