Instead of a role model I’m a real model. A role model is playing a role acting goody goody, and life has no worries. A real model has faults, struggles, and life has ups and downs. You witness my accomplishments, my failures, and you realize I’m just like you. I’m just subject to more criticism being dissected under a microscope because I stepped up to take the steps to change our community for the better. So while I’m constantly crucified for being human, making mistakes, failing, and struggling. I’m suing those who live real lives resolve, determination, drive, and an ability to pick myself up, dust off, not quit, or give up and keep pushing towards the goal. People try to make you live up to standards they themselves can’t, while my life and the adversity I endure, battle with, and ultimately overcomes shows you that this ain’t Pleasentville, and we will fall. I show you how to take a beating and get back up every time and keep pushing forward through everything. The inspiration comes from knowing I do it mostly alone, and creating a change for everyone! This ain’t done act with a predetermined happy ending, my life is the life we all live, but because I choose to step up and become a leader my life is lived in the public eye, and witnessed by all.
