- Use a cork sealer when the factory shine goes matte on the edges
- Keep cork footbeds out of rain and water to prevent cracking
- Gently wipe Birkibuc straps with a damp soft cloth
- When the outsole tread wears down, visit a cobbler to resole
- Avoid leaving them in a hot car or near extreme heat
- Suede and nubuck footbeds can be refreshed with the Birkenstock Cleaner & Refresher (follow instructions) and brushed lightly with a suede/nubuck brush to restore the nap
