It’s a beautiful Thursday Morning … fresh rain drops are glistening on the grass .. summer seems to already be in full swing with warm temps and rain storms …

Every time I go out … I think the trees and bushes and grass are so thick and plush from all the rain we’ve had for so many weeks .. It’s like we’re wrapped in a beautiful Green blanket ..

Before I start my chores and run my errands for the day … I added these sweet bits of Country Cottage Dreams to my Etsy shop this morning .. After over a week off to work on my physical shop space .. I’m starting to get back in swing filling my Etsy shop .. so stay tuned for more sweet bits of vintage goodness to come.

Good Sunday Morning…

It’s been a busy week for me … Monday We started a complete revamp of my shop space and wrapped it all up yesterday afternoon. This is always a huge job and takes at least a week because it’s truly starting from scratch…like you’re just moving in. And my body is feeling it today.

From Summer gardening to patriotic and beautiful vintage and antique goods for your home it’s filled to the brim with so many sweet pieces.

If you love shopping when the mall is a bit quieter… today and tomorrow are the perfect opportunity be for the tearoom opens on Tuesday or if your craving a yummy sandwich and scrumptious dessert… head in Tuesday to eat and shop the perfect combination.

Good Morning …. and what a beautiful morning it is … the sun’s just starting to creep out .. and little rays are making their way between the swaying leaves outside my window .. I always love how the sunlight dances through the leaves and you can see the movement on the wall or floor …
Yesterday I laid on the couch a good hour and just stared at the blue sky .. it’s amazing how simple things like that can just relax you .. I think in this busy world we forget the simple things we did as children .. laying in the grass watching the clouds go by .. and trying to make out if they were shaped like anything … sometimes it’s nice to be a kid again !

I hope this finds you all having a lovely day .. My “Sweetbriar Cottage” Restock is now in full swing in my Etsy shop … I’ve added not only this hand painted sign which is made from a salvaged table base .. but a second one you can see in the photos I created from all antique salvaged wood pieces …. Plus of course all these sweet farm and cottage goods that always make my heart swoon .. I hope they do yours as well…

Good Monday Morning … I hope you’re all having a beautiful start to the week… and that you all had a lovely Mother’s Day …!!!!

Surrounding myself with the things I love has always brought me comfort and joy … Antique and Vintage has that nostalgia, a life with a story to tell, and I love being the keeper of the past ….

One of my favorite additions to any Display is Florals .. rather they are printed fabrics, vintage linens, a charming stool, Salt and Pepper sets, pillows .. or even faux or fresh flowers … To me there’s a softness they add and cozy feeling …

Hope this finds you all having a most beautiful Thursday … It’s absolutely beautiful here in MO … the rain we’ve had over the last few weeks has made everything bloom out in luscious green leaves …. it’s the wonderful bright spring green and it’s a feast for the eyes… even the sweet wildflowers are bloomed out in the fields .. I’m truly enjoying this glorious spring.
I haven’t been able to get back to any large restocks in my Etsy shop the last several weeks .. I know I shared I was having back issues and last I posted I thought it was all good .. but things went backwards after that and now I’m moving forward again in it getting better .. but I just can’t sit for long periods … So I decided I’d have a small restock today … and I’m listing several items daily in between restocks moving forward ..
So Today’s restock features 3 charming garden signs that I personally have hand painted on Salvaged pieces along with a sweet old garden pail I’ve also hand painted .. And some sweet Vintage Green Goods … I also added in some items I’ve been listing the last few days to the shop …
Well I’m off to the kitchen to grab some breakfast ,.. my tummy is growling and I’m ready for my glass of sweet tea …
