It’s a good day for a trip to Spring Creek Antiques ….

I mentioned yesterday I had been missing the last 10 days … and I had been working on a new project …

Well I opened a 2nd shop space this week .. the window space next to mine came available and really how could I resist that lovely window and all that natural light .. .. as many of you know my mom works with me on my spaces and we both had a dream to do something different .. our version of a cozy eclectic cottage.. filled with rustic time worn pieces, Old books, antique china, antique linens, and more … And we really love how it came out and hope you do as well ..

P.S. .. I’m in the process of tearing down and revamping my original space for fall … filling it with all new goods … which will be done late next week… I’ll post picts when it’s all done …

I’ve been missing the last week working on a new project which i’ll be sharing tomorrow .

I hope everyone has had a wonderful August so far …but I’m looking forward to Septembers a bit cooler temperatures…i’m at my i’ve bee too hot to long point.

I managed to get some new vintage goodness added to my Etsy shop this morning… so here’s a few peeks at my “Just a few old keepsakes a few old memories: restock …. now in my Etsy shop …

🍂 Hope you all had a beautiful Sunday Afternoon … It’s back to being Very Hot here .. but it’s August and that generally is pretty typical of this time of year .. I think we refer to this point in the year as the “Dog Days of Summer” … We’ve had some nice rain showers the last week … which for August is sure keeping everything so beautifully green despite the heat … I love a late summer that’s green ..

🍁 Happy August … It can’t be August already .. !!!

Hope you all had a beautiful weekend .. It’s been an exceptionally nice weekend for me .. I got to meet an instagram friend yesterday at my shop space .. which was such a pleasure .. !!!

Sharing this sweet old sugar bowl tonight .. I love these they make for the sweetest decor pieces and I love styling them year round .. of course my favorite is tucking in some lace or doilies with them and yes flowers .. this girl does love her flowers as I’m sure you all have figured out by now if you’ve been following any length of time .. They really are perfect year round for seasonal decor too .. from tucking a cute pumpkin on top to adding a bottle brush tree or snowman for Christmas and pretty flowers for spring time .. If you have one and aren’t putting it to use year round go get it and style it for the season !

Flower Lovin’ Friends!

It’s been a beautiful week here in MO so far .. HOT, but beautiful …

About this time of the year when the heat turns up .. I dream of being on the ocean dipping my toes in the tide …. but since Iive 1/2 way between the coast lines .. I’ll just feel absolutely blessed I have A/C … and I’ll try dipping my toes in a rain puddle when the rain comes again ..ha ha ..

Yesterday I was really feeling the heat .. I have a flea market space (besides my antique mall spaces) and they don’t have a/c .. we worked for about 4 hours and I was literally drenched from head to toe.. it was so hot and humid .. Those are the days that really make you remember to be grateful for having A/C at home .. I often think about when I grew up we didn’t have a/c .. and never thought much about it as a youngster .. we sure did without a lot of things back in the day ..

Hope you all have a beautiful week .. Can you believe it’s almost August .. is it just me or does time just seem to fly as I get older ?
