Hey page! Here’s your sign to just chop your hair off! (15 inches) 🙌🏻🎉🥰
ALSO….I wanted to introduce myself, since we have grown so much lately! (Thank you for helping us grow!) This page has been around over 10 years, and we just keep chugging along!
A little about A Likely Story…..
I started this business in 2017 after selling Lularoe for 1.5 years! I decided I wanted to run my own biz and filed for my business license a few days before Christmas in 2017!
At the time I had 2 littles at home and managed to build this business going full steam ahead!
I started online and was also a vendor in 8 boutiques around the Ozarks at one time.
I hosted shopping nights and weekends in my boutique basement and had hundreds of women come shop weekly!
I got to visit each day with other women in my driveway, at my vendor locations and online!
I LOVED it. It was exhausting. 2 littles, full time work, and a DREAM….
That’s really all I needed. My kids have grown up watching mom run this thing, and eventually I opened a storefront on Republic Road in Springfield and it was open for almost 6 years. I closed my storefront as we were expecting another baby and I needed to PIVOT for my family. I needed to be able to stay home with my baby and nurse her and soak it all in. And I did that!
Somewhere along the line 2.5 years ago, I decided to start making graphics when the road was under construction at my storefront and sales were AWFUL because customers couldn’t get in!
So I started shirts. Making them. Selling them online. No idea what I was doing. They were all sublimation and I had zero clue how it worked. But I learned! Trial and error! Lots of burns along the way! 🤣🤣🤣
Then it grew. Graphics started selling wonderfully, and the road at my storefront was fixed. Suddenly my storefront was back in action and what WAS my darkest “Valley” in business so it seemed, became what I had needed to not only GROW my business, but use what I had learned in the coming hard seasons to support my family.
(God is good)
While I recouped from having baby Wilder, I continued/still am selling all my favorite clothing styles at my boutique besties storefront, Bree’s Little Closet. That was/is one of my families biggest blessings. It’s fun being somewhere that knows you, loves you and appreciates you! It’s a great place to be!
Fast forward to 2026 where I have made my online comeback with graphics after having an additional extensive surgery to fix my botched csection (it’s been a long year🤦♀️), gotten stronger and FINALLY feel like myself after 18 months postpartum! (Mamas, we are all champions)
I am so thankful for this page, this place where thousands of you have followed me since my early days where I didn’t have grey hair or wrinkles yet. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and now you’re still here as I enter perimenopause with a toddler, pr***en and teen. I still think I’m 26, but my body says “girl, you’re 41. Don’t lie.”
I just recently chopped my crazy long hair off.
I feel like a weight has been lifted. I’m BACK and better than ever and ready to make your shirts for YEARS to come! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
💁🏼♀️ and I’m a talker. 🥰🤷🏼♀️-Laurel
