Vintage 1970s Sculptural Swivel Chair 😍

This gorgeous, monumental sized chair features a sculptural, scoop shaped body with velour like upholstery resting on a walnut base. It rotates 360° with ease. The upholstery could be left as is, as it is in really decent shape. Or, you could make this beauty stand out even more with a bold color choice. I saw one in a bright orange and it was to die for! This massive chair has a 44” wide seat! 33” Depth. 27.25” Height. Plenty of room for lounging! This chair would make a great photography prop as well! All sales records I could find attribute this chair to Adrian Pearsall, but I have seen so many misattributions to him so who knows. Regardless, it’s a super cool, very well made beast of a chair!

Pagholz of West Germany produced high quality bentwood chairs. They used a technique of taking thin sheets of plywood, laminates, and veneers to sculpt some amazing and complex designs. They’re extremely durable due to the manufacturing process, which combines the wood and resin under high pressure. The result is a seat that is both solid and flexible. These beauties pay homage to both Scandinavian design and Eames. The rosewood color and gorgeous grain is stunning! They sit on chrome bases by Royal Metal. All chairs are stamped for authenticity. Dimensions: 31.5” tall, 19.5” wide, 18” depth. Please follow me on here at EVE Endangered Vintage Emporium and on Instagram

This piece is a testament to the quality and originality of Danish design. Family business, Omann Jun, was founded in 1933 by Andreas Omann in Ølholm, Denmark. Andreas Omann’s father, Niels Omann, founded Ølholm Mobelfrabik in 1892. This particular piece has been attributed to Gunni Omann, but according to records I’ve read, the singular attribution came from a variety of advertising in the 1960s. Three family members (Andreas, Gunni, and Bjarne) were involved with the design and production of each item. Omann Jun considers the designs a collaborative effort and not attributable to any one person. Fun fact: the Jun in Omann Jun stands for junior. This particular piece is absolutely stunning! It provides ample storage space as well! It has 4 interior adjustable shelves and 4 drawers. The center bracket can also be removed if you prefer it to have more of a floating effect(see last two pics). If you did prefer to remove it, you would need to put a few coats of teak oil on because the teak is lighter where the bracket has sat for decades. The drawer and door pulls are also hand sculpted teak. The side legs can be taken off for easy transport. Dimensions: 65” wide, 18.75” depth, 68.75” tall.
