You look like you’re about to tell a room full of teenagers that secular music is dangerous… while secretly owning every Amy Grant cassette ever released.

That blazer is so aggressively 90s that somewhere a corporate training video is missing its host.

And that haircut? It’s giving:
“I answer the church phone, organize the potluck sign-up sheet, AND know exactly who didn’t return their casserole dish.”

Mike:
My man looks like he just finished a 3-part sermon series called “Dating God’s Way.”

That smile says:
“I’m only 23, but I’m about to give marriage advice to couples who’ve been married longer than I’ve been alive.”

The suit jacket appears to be carrying its own mortgage payment.

And that tie looks like it was chosen after asking, “Do you have anything that says ‘professional youth pastor who occasionally plays acoustic guitar’?”

Together:

The two of you look like you met because the church copier jammed and God moved in mysterious ways.

This photo has the energy of:

* Pizza Ranch after Wednesday night youth group
* A lock-in that somehow lasted 17 hours

Speaking of which…

The lava lamp centered perfectly between your heads makes it look like it’s the third member of your ministry team.

Holy Spirit. Youth Pastor. Church Secretary.

In that order.

And let’s be honest, if this photo were a church bulletin announcement, it would read:

“Mike and Danielle would like to invite all youth ages 12-18 to the Fellowship Hall for an evening of fun, games, pizza, and a powerful message about peer pressure.”

The funniest part?

You both look SO earnest. Like if a teenager said they were having a hard time, you’d immediately stop what you were doing and spend two hours encouraging them.

Which, knowing what I know about you, is probably exactly what happened.

So yes, the fashion is peak 90s.
Yes, the hair is magnificent.
Yes, that blazer belongs in a museum.

But honestly?

You two look like the nicest people in the building—and that’s probably why 30 years later you’re still together and still encouraging people.

I've been having so much fun creating and sharing colorful seed bead bracelets, and truly, I've loved seeing how many of you have been enjoying them too. Those Stars & Stripes SoLD FAAASTA!

While they may look different from the personalized hand-stamped bracelets that started Create Hope Cuffs over 10 years ago, they come from the same heart. 🩷

The heart that wants to create something meaningful, encourage women, spark connection, and create hope around your wrist and around the world.

I know many of us are being more intentional with our spending these days, and one thing I've learned is that sometimes a simple $5 bracelet feels more doable than a larger purchase.
