We did something crazy! We look three days off from work and took a roadtrip to Kansas City this week. It centered around the exhibit at the HAW Contemporary in the West Bottoms, Kansas City. It literally would have been worth the drive JUST to see this extraordinary work in person!

Shout out to - incredible vegan restaurant where we had dinner twice and dreamed about a third meal on the way home. And of course we like to find local coffee shops to take a beat and relax!

Found some much needed vintage menswear that we can’t wait to launder and get on the floor!

Thanks to Abby for holding down the fort and many apologies to Greta who was supposed to go with us but was forgotten and spent days in Kay’s trunk :(

We know we are a little late to the trend, but we couldn’t pass up the chance to show off our awesome team ❤️

These shots come from a shoot for .mag called Ties For Liberation: An editorial study of the resurgent tie trend in fem fashion. Styling masculine items through the female gaze and its historical connection to women’s empowerment, body autonomy, and black / brown feminist resistance.
