Today is a day of rememberence.
A day to look inward and hold fast to the things we hold dear in life.
A day to honor the innocent victims who lost their lives at the hands of evil, vile terrorism.
A day to promote the unity, the love, and the unabashed patriotism we all shared in the wake of unimaginable tragedy.
A day to lift others up and support one another in the perpetual fight for American liberty.
Today is a day to choose each other. To choose the mindset of doing what is right over fighting to be right.
That is the path I choose.
Opinions, preferences, leanings, Rs and Ds...none of it matters. We are meant to be ONE nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for all. That is who we are, who we've always been, and who we will always be.
Hug your families and make sure they know you love them. Help your neighbors, smile at strangers, support your coworkers.
Be a good human.
We all promised each other to Never Forget.
I choose to keep that promise.
May God bless everyone who lost someone 24 years ago this day on September 11, 2001. Know that we remember and honor those we lost and all those who keep their memories alive.
May God bless the brave warriors who protect this nation from the evils that want to see us broken beyond repair. We know that without you we would lose all that we hold dear and sacred.
And may God bless the last best hope for freedom, the United States of America.
