Erker’s 1879 are the frames we actually wanted to wear, so we made them.

After spending over a century curating the world’s finest eyewear, we couldn’t help ourselves. We had to create our own. We travel internationally for design inspiration, then prototype and refine each frame right here in St. Louis.

Each of our frames have timeless silhouettes, materials chosen for how they age, and construction details that you feel every time you put them on. Every frame is named after a St. Louis landmark because place matters, and so does the story behind what you wear.
