Excited to announce that Kansas City Fashion Week is now an official added stop on the Brandin Vaughn Global Pop-Up Tour. This journey continues to grow, and I’m honored to bring the Brandin Vaughn Collection to KC for a full day of fashion, community, and shopping.

From the very first time stepping onto the team, the experience is pivotal and truly life-changing for me and my career. Earlier this year, my good friend encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and cover Met Gala fashion on social media. I took the challenge head-on—and honestly? I had a blast. The response was love. People tapped in, watched, and told me they genuinely enjoyed it, which meant everything.

Fast forward to Sunday , and I had the incredible opportunity to cover the White Carpet Black & White Ball for . Y’all… when I tell you I had SO much fun. From the fashion to the energy to the people—it was next level.

I learned a lot, and got to interview some truly talented, legendary, and inspiring individuals. Nights like this remind me that fashion is more than clothes—it’s storytelling, culture, and connection.

Big shoutout to for having me and The St. Louis American. Appreciate you, bro—thank you for constantly showing up, giving back, and always putting on for the Lou. Congrats on 13 years—that legacy is real 🖤🤍

Had the incredible honor of giving the keynote address at for their fashion design students — with students also joining from Sumner High School (Mrs. Kimberly Murphy & Mr. Jermaine Smith) and North Technical High School (Mrs. Darnecia Darden).

Seeing so many young faces of color tapping into fashion… that hit different. When I was coming up, I didn’t have an example of what a successful Black fashion designer looked like. So to be able to speak, touch, influence, and empower this next generation meant everything to me.

Access matters. Representation matters. And I’ll never stop doing the work to show our people that we belong in every room in this industry — and we can lead in it too.
