What we booked vs. what we got…
After driving 12 hours alone with my three kids, this was the last thing I expected. Within hours, my daughter stepped on broken glass in the kitchen. The pool we booked the house for was green, there were hanging light fixtures, unfinished repairs, garbage, and safety concerns throughout the home. We documented everything, called immediately, packed our kids back up, and left.
Now we’re being asked to go back and give the property another chance before they’ll decide on our refund. As a mom, once my child is hurt and my family no longer feels safe, there is no second chance.
I’m in Baltimore to rebuild businesses, train my team, organize our new storage facility, and build something my children can one day be proud of. I brought them with me so we could work hard together during the day and make memories at night. Instead, I’ve spent my time dealing with a situation that never should have happened.
Family safety should never be up for debate. Do better,
