Okie dokie, my silver-wearing friends! We hit the road today!

After a VERY busy few months of markets, making silver-wear and dish-wear, and spending countless hours in my workshop, it's time to trade my tools for hiking boots and head off on a little adventure!

Chris and I are spending the next two weeks exploring Virginia and West Virginia with our trusty little camper, MO! We've got mountains to climb, trails to hike, quaint little towns to explore, and hopefully a whole lot of beautiful fall color along the way!

That means I won't be at any markets or events for the next two weeks, but Second Turn Studio isn't going anywhere!

You can still shop my sale at SecondTurnStudio.com, AND I'm still accepting custom orders! Feel free to reach out with your requests while I'm away, and I'll get to work on them starting November 4th when I'm back in my workshop.

Three VERY different markets.
And a whole lot of fun coming up this week!

Thursday kicks things off with my final Wood River Illinois Farmer's Market of the season (weather permitting 🤞). It's always a little bittersweet wrapping up a market season, especially when I've gotten to know so many wonderful people along the way.

Friday night, I'm heading to Delish on Delmar for what sounds like one heck of a party! They're shutting down Delmar Boulevard between Union and Kingshighway, right in the Delmar Maker District. From 5-10pm, they are bringing in live bands, filling the area with food vendors and makers like ME, and turning the whole evening into a giant block party. I'm especially excited about this one! And Saturday, I'll be back at the St. Charles Market on Main Street for a little fall fun at the Pumpkin Festival! 🎃 There will be a ton of different activities that you don't want to miss out on!

Of course, I'll be bringing LOTS of my handmade silver-wear and dish-wear, including plenty of new pieces that have been keeping me busy in the workshop.

SUPER EXCITED! After several months of having no products on my website because I was carrying 100% of my inventory with me to markets each week, I decided yesterday that it was time to change that!

A couple weeks ago, I posted a TON of pieces on sale here on my Second Turn Studio page, and in true Facebook fashion, hardly anyone saw them, even with some awesome people sharing, commenting, and liking the posts.

There’s just too much amazingness sitting here to let Facebook decide who gets to see it. 😂

So, I’ve spent the last two days adding more than 50 rings to my website, along with bookmarks, bracelets, keychains, and other goodies. And I’m just getting started!

I love that this gives you a place to see so much more of what I’ve been making, especially if you can’t make it to one of my markets. You can browse what’s ON SALE or shop by ring style, ring size, or product. Plus, I’ve included information about the patterns and their history because, as you probably know by now, that’s one of my favorite parts of all of this!

And I have some GREAT NEWS! I’m now offering $5.99 FLAT RATE SHIPPING anywhere in the U.S., no matter how much you order!

It’s still very much a work in progress, with A LOT more to come, but there’s already plenty to see. Almost everything currently on the website is ON SALE, including rings for $5 OFF, which I’ve NEVER done before!

One of the things I love most about Second Turn Studio is knowing that every piece started as vintage or antique silverware that had a whole life before it ever found its way to me. I get to learn its story, turn it into something new, and eventually send it off to someone who gets to make it part of theirs.

I’m so excited to finally have a place where more of these pieces and their stories can be seen. I hope you’ll take a look and maybe even find one that has YOUR name written all over it.

FYI - General Weight Guidelines for Earrings:
