It’s Alive after 5:00 tonite and we are open late!

We will be open late this Friday for Alive after 5:00. Join us for an olive oil and balsamic tasting in the Cafe. We will be serving up some tasty treats for you to try. The cafe will be open for chicken salad sandwiches and desserts.

We have just released tickets for our next dinner show Monster Mansion. It is sure to be a Spooky Fun time with a fun menu and show. We are encouraging you to come in your best costume. Shows always sell out so grab your ticket soon. We will not be having a lunch show for this one but are happy to offer dinner shows on both Friday and Saturday evening. Tickets are online here ⬇️

Lots of fun things happening in the tea and spice shop. We will be ready soon ❤️

We were excited to do tea training yesterday. Thank you Tea and Spice Exchange for training us on proper tea brewing. Things are moving right along and they are getting everything packaged. It won’t be much longer until we will be offering an amazing selection of teas, spices, salts, sugars and blends. We can’t wait to cook and prepare new specials and of course brew you a special cup of tea!

Throughout life we tend to remember what we were doing when tragedy strikes. Yesterday we were simply putting up wallpaper when we heard of the passing of the famous Dolly Parton. My favorite song of hers was Coat of Many Colors. If you know her story you know that she came from poverty and that poverty helped shaped her into the woman she became. The coat of many colors made from scraps that her mama made became such an anthem for me in my life. When I started my life over 14 years ago with a 2 year old and $7 in the bank I too experienced the trials and tribulations of poverty. But just as the song says we are only poor if we choose to be. Richness comes from many things least of which is money. I am rich in life and as I continue to paint furniture of many colors I will never forget the impact of this one song and the many lessons it has taught me through the years. Rest in Peace Dolly….your impact of those you touched is beyond measure ❤️
