Happy Saturday!
We all know that to be more productive, creative, and successful, we need proper rest. But what doesn't it mean to have a rest? Is it staying in bed all day? Is it binge-watching Netflix? According to Forbes, here are the activities that leave us feeling rested, renewed, and ready for a new week:
π Exercise
It not only keeps our bodies healthy but also gives us an opportunity to clear our minds for new ideas.
π Disconnect
Literally, just disconnect from the internet, electronics, and emails. Try to spend at least half a day without all these distractions. It will give you a liberating feeling that will help you see the world with fresh eyes.
π Avoid chores
Easier said than done! But with proper planning, it can definitely be achieved. Free up one day out of the weekend from all the chores, and you see how your mood elevates, and your mind clears.
π Pursue a passion
Add some creativity to your weekend! It can be any hobby that you enjoy! Do art, crafts, knitting, origami, or anything in between. When we are doing things with our hands, we need a high level of concentration, which in turn gives our mind a break from routine thoughts.
