Finished this antique cabinet no less than 2 days before leaving for UT. It was quite the labor of love. There were so many layers of paint, that even 4 attempts of stripping it didn't take it all off. It just turned gooey. After letting it dry up for a few weeks, I then had to scrape off the goo chunks and sand off the rest.

Love they way the rub on transfer looked on the finished product. Added some postcard printed tissue paper in the drawers, and Voila!

Back from Utah for Vintage Market Days in Logan.

Very tired and wiped out. Met some great vendor neighbors! And got to visit with lots of great puppy dogs.

Next event for me is at the Sumpter Flea Market in OR for Memorial Day. I'll have completely different inventory since I won't be bringing my big trailer.

Following that, will be at Vintage Market Days at Expo Idaho in July.

This week's project. Just applied the orange stripper and waiting. This cute little antique has many flaws, it needs stabilizing on joints, new paint, them some pretty flower transfers.

UPDATE... soooo many layers I'm having to do another coat of the orange stripper.

4 stripping attempts... I give up. I will have to stop and manage what I'm left with.

Hey all my fellow vintage. Come out to the Middleton Community Center Saturday March 19th to the Urban Shed Vintage Market.

Just finished this adorable little cabinet. It was beat up, had been sitting outside in the rain, and the top was peeling and chipping.

Now it's like brand new and ready for next week's event at Vintage Market Days in Nampa.
