GOD BLESS MISSISSIPPI ❤️ Wow! What an incredible night at America250 Mississippi United In Song, celebrating America’s 250th birthday and our state’s contributions to the nation.

It was such a humbling experience to see my artwork printed on the signage throughout the event, wrapped around the Mississippi Coliseum’s columns and in the arms of Mississippians as they left that evening.

Thank you to the volunteers, entertainers, performers, musicians, choir, dancers, orchestra, committee and leaders. United in Song was absolutely amazing and a truly historic celebration, bringing tears to my eyes. I am proud to be an American and even prouder to be from Mississippi.

Mama G and I had the BEST night! I love my Mother and I love Mississippi! AMEN Y’ALL!

WE THE PEOPLE, Y’ALL ❤️ I am honored to have been commissioned by America250 Mississippi to create the commemorative artwork celebrating America’s 250th birthday and our state’s contributions to the nation.

Mississippi is good people, small-town pride, family traditions and HOME! Mississippi links us to our past and is a bridge to our future. My artwork is inspired by the people and traditions that have shaped my life while growing up in the South.

I am so thankful for the experiences and connections I have made through my art. God has richly blessed my life. I am honored to use the gifts He has given me to give back to my community and state.

DOUBLE DECKER ❤️💙 Hi Yall! Art is en route to the Square! I am so grateful for the supportive calls, texts and love from friends and family this week. It’s a big day for Southern artists! I am at peace with whatever the weather brings and looking forward to a special day. If you are in the area, I encourage you to grab your umbrella and enjoy the burst of creativity and color that will soon wrap around the Square.
