Hey there Spela Children's Store and Cafe Friends! You can find a TON of our items at the Rugrats Resale this week! It was a lot of fun going through our items and seeing what we still had! We had A LOT! From clothes to pedi peds, even strollers! Go check it out you will find a lot of great deals!

Well Friends, this is it. Today we turn our keys to Martin Street over to a lovely State Farm agent. Are we sad? A little, we put our hearts and souls into our store and we loved the people we met over the last 3 years. Not to mention, the friendships we have made are such blessings. We hope that you benefited from our store, that you know you are not alone in this parent game and that you now know if you buy a crappy stroller you are going to end up owning 6 or 7 in your child's young life! Thank you for your business, but please remember that our website will be up and running again very very soon. Shop locally friends, pay the extra $5, if you don't then awesome stores like ours go away. Much Love and Happiness to You ALL! Don't worry, we will see you guys really soon.....REALLY soon with something really exciting!

Ok guys this is it! We are down to the last few days! We can't believe it, there is SO much to do! So Wed-Fri all retail in the store, 40% off! Shoes, Melissa and Doug, clothes, gro via and more!! This is it! There will be no further discounts given, all sales are final! We are having a Yard Sale on Saturday. All fixtures, furniture, birthday party supplies, Christmas supplies EVERYTHING On sale SATURDAY 7am to 1pm!!!

Just a reminder we are still having our 30% Off Sale! There are toys and shelving units for sale too! A couple of things to note, Spela's play area is no more, we are now closed on Saturday unless you would like to schedule an appointment, & we are open every day at 10am when we close depends on how busy we are so call and check!

10. So that we can devote more time to constructing our evil lair (opening spring 2012!)
9. So that our children will stop referring to Russ the chiropractor as "daddy"
8. So that Regina can focus her attention on pursuing her first love: yodeling
7. So that we can more fully develop our talentzin the helium arts
6. Running the store will interfere with the filming schedule of our new reality show.
5. We need more free time to stalk people in State College and find out where they are really shopping.
4. So that we can bring our kids to all the playgroups at Wegmans, Panera, and Barnes and noble.
3. We had a thirty one bag party and spent all our money.
2. Because we are both proudly certified in the mail order meats and there is some territory open.
1. Our Martin St lease is ending.
