Lil personal update- cause I miss y'all!!!
The C word has spread to my liver, lymph nodes, and most recently my brain (I had a 2% chance to get leptomeningeal in my brain.. I ALWAYS have to be unique ;))
Just finished 15 sessions of whole brain radiation and will start a new chemo next Wednesday. I still feel great! Ok...Lil tired, bald, with burns on my head and face... But other than that-- GREAT!
This is my time to be strong. We ALL will have the opportunity, at one point in our lives, to show strength... And fight for something worthwhile. Life is short (cliche but true)... I don't just want to survive, I want to LIVE!!

THANK YOU Sarah Savoy, at Shear Perfection in Statesville, for donating Gift Certificates for 1 hour Swedish massages to our Gracie Foundation bags!!
So far, without a website(working on that with Liz from Wine Maestro! Thank you!) we have given away over 100 Chemo Essential Bags to local women in the fight for their life! We have even shipped two internationally!
We have hired a CEO, Lori Krum, who will be actively running the foundation within a few weeks.
Watch out people... We are going to be ruthless at makin' our girls smile!!
I will have more information ASAP for donations as well as bag requests. The Gracie Foundation is going to make a difference...I personally guarantee that!
