A new pen of mine from a new brand which is absolutely lovely! The Panda Dorf Purple Bamboo Edition Fountain Pen. The founder’s name is Harry Lee. He Did a fantastic job with this new product line and the pen is certainly worth having in my collection.

Inspired by bamboo forests, clouds, pandas, and traditional Chinese artistry, Panda Dorf pens are designed with distinctive details, like the vacuum plated gold bamboo clip, and a smiling panda finial with a Chinese character for fortune, that give each model its own identity and story. Every piece is thoughtfully crafted to offer a balance of elegance, creativity, and everyday usability.
Craftsmanship & Performance
Panda Dorf pens feature reliable Schmidt nibs and piston filling systems, paired with carefully selected materials and hand-finished accents. The result is a smooth, refined writing experience combined with exceptional attention to detail and lasting quality.
The Collection
Current models include the Green Bamboo Forest Edition and the Purple Bamboo Edition which I have, both equipped with a clip, a cloud-shaped nib,and a metal cloud ink window; they feature a large-capacity piston filling system and are presented in premium gift packaging. Each design reflects the brand’s signature blend of modern craftsmanship and artistic inspiration. My pen is a Schmidt fine nib and writes very smoothly. The pen is postable although I prefer mine unposted.

My Dutch Pen Show 2025 Scribo Feel Waterworld Themed Limited Edition Fountain Pen with 18kt gold fine nib. Only 88 were made world-wide. Mine is 78 of 88. I think the Waterworld finish is one of SCRIBO’s more striking modern acrylics. Purchased and nib tuned from Appelboom. It writes ultra smoothly. Weight and balance is perfect. I’m Very Happy Writing With This Pen.

These two fountain pens have a big presence but are in fact light weight. They are two of my latest from 3952Pens Bon Artek in Taiwan.

The light weight metal material has different engraved patterns and is then plated with chrome.

They have German Bock steel fine nibs and fill via a cartridge/converter. They have a nice feel in the hand and write very well.

My Latest Delight From 3952 Pens Bon Artek in Taiwan. Vermilion Urushi, Silver Elegance.

This fountain pen features a vivid vermilion urushi lacquer barrel, bright and auspicious, with the warm glow unique to natural lacquer. The vibrant vermilion-coloured urushi of the barrel symbolizes significance and protection. This symbolic colour, traditionally derived from cinnabar ore is believed to possess power over evil spirits. The solid 925 sterling silver cap, engraved with a refined guilloché pattern, creates an elegant contrast against the brilliant red body.

Its rotating magnetic cap opens and closes smoothly, adding both convenience and a sense of craftsmanship. Fitted with a BOCK fine steel nib, it offers excellent smooth tactile feedback. The weight and balance of the pen is fantastic.

The Aegean Starry Sky Urushi Fountain Pen By 3952 Pens BonArtek in Taiwan.

Yet another fantastic pen to add to my collection. The pen is smooth, warm and inviting to the touch. The intriguing sparkles of abalone shell in the finish draws your focus and invites you to write with delight. The fine Bock German steel gold toned nib is tuned and writes so smoothly.

I just received the latest addition to my fountain pen collection. The 2019 Montblanc Patron of Art Homage to Hadrian 4810 edition fountain pen. Hadrian was an influential Roman Emperor known for his love of art and architecture.

The barrel features Egyptian basalt stone. The cap top and cone on the pen is designed to mirror the iconic dome of the Roman Pantheon. The clip is shaped like a sheaf of wheat, representing a tribute to Demeter and the Eleusinian Mysteries.
The nib is handcrafted from 18k gold and features a special engraving of the Hadrianic Phoenix, a symbol Hadrian used to denote a new golden age.
The medallions: the center cap ring features engravings of the Greek hero Antinous and Medusa.

The pen weight and balance feels great in my hand. The fine nib writes very smoothly. I’m looking forward to years of enjoyment writing with it.

My latest collectable fountain pen is the 2007 MontBlanc Patron of the Arts Alexander Von Humboldt Fountain Pen, Limited Edition 3328 of 4810, fitted with an 18K Medium Nib.
The cap and barrel are masterfully crafted from black grenadilla wood and sterling silver. Completing the composition is an 18K gold nib with a sextant, a direct reference to Humboldt’s astronomical observations and South American expeditions.
The pen employs Montblanc’s piston-filling system.

A collection of 3 fountain pens from 3952 Pens in Taiwan. I already had a mother of pearl version and I liked it so much I got three more. Black Mother Of Pearl, Pink Abalone Shell, and Green Abalone Shell rounds out the collection. All with Fine Rose Gold Plated Steel Nibs. They write as nicely as they look…Fantastic. The weight, balance, and feel in the hand is perfect. The caps close with a slight but secure magnetic twist. Cartridge/Converter filling mechanism.

My latest collectible from 3952 Pens in Taiwan. Described as a pen that seals the soul in natural paint.

Gothic is a dark aesthetics across architecture, literature, music and fashion. Its charming place, not just mysterious, but with depth in the gorgeous, and romance in the cold.

Teacher Amo transformed this western gothic temperament into Oriental natural lacquer pen. The paint looks like the glimmer of the old church, and like the traces of years left on the stone wall; the layers are deep, but not cold. This is not a simple colouring, but a picture drawn by stroke, you can see the brushstrokes, and you can see the temperature of the handmade.

The nib is a German BOCK fine in rose colored steel. You can feel the elasticity and feedback of writing in addition to enjoying art.

This is a pen with an air field.
With the mystery of goth, there is also the thickness and soul of natural paint.
