Hey everyone! ✨
Just added a bunch of fresh cabochons to the shop! We've been running our old stock rough through the new cabbing machine and came up with some really nice ones — Kingman turquoise in all kinds of blues, teals, and matrix patterns, Siberian nephrite jade, rose quartz, chrysoprase, larimar, rhodonite, rhodochrosite, rainforest jasper, and a few others.
They're super pretty and great for wire wrapping, making jewelry, or just collecting!
This is only the start though… more cabochons are on the way soon as we keep cutting!

🌸 Two very different vibes, one common thread: 100% natural, untouched color, cut right here in Virginia 💎✨
First up: this dreamy Sugilite cabochon 😍
In normal light, it’s a soft lavender/lilac with those gorgeous grey matrix clouds floating through. But put a light behind it? WHOA… it erupts into electric fuchsia fire 🔥 Zero treatments—just pure, vibrant richness straight from the rough. (Swipe to see the backlit glow-up!)
Second: a cool, minty Chrysoprase cabochon ❄️
That apple-green translucence with the silky nickel glow is all natural too. Super clean, high dome, and a glassy polish that makes it look perpetually wet, even bone dry. So soothing on the eyes!
I hand-selected the rough at one of our amazing small, family-run Virginia rock shops (shout-out Odyssey Gem & Float in Wi******er! 🏔️), then cut and polished each cab here in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

🌟 Just pulled these three Kingman two-tone beauties out of the cab vault and the light is hitting them perfectly this morning… 😍

Gorgeous watery blues that drift into deeper teal and soft sea-green, all laced with that warm golden-brown matrix Kingman does so well. Cut by me here in Virginia from rough I bought years ago. Stabilized only, no dyes, no treatments, and completely unbacked so every carat is pure turquoise.

I can’t stop picturing them as a matched necklace, bracelet, and ring set, or as dramatic three-stone pendant, statement rings, a scattered cuff, or even a bolo or belt buckle slide. The ideas won’t leave me alone.

✨ Glow, jade, glow! – Shenandoah Valley-cut British Columbia Nephrite Jade cabochons! ✨

These little beauties started life as 100% natural rough straight from the legendary mines at Jademine.com, then took a road trip to Virginia where I got to put my own spin on them. The color is that classic rich apple-green nephrite we all chase, and when you hit them with strong back-lighting… wow. That translucent glow is pure Pacific Northwest magic!

Every piece is completely untreated – just jade doing what jade does best. Loving how the black chrome-diopside and graphite inclusions dance in the light like little starry nights frozen in green.

Fresh off the cabbing wheel! 🌿💗💚
Rainforest Jasper, Rhodonite, and Bloodstone — all cut and polished right here in Virginia from rough I hand-selected at Odyssey Gem & Float in Wi******er, VA.
I’m obsessed with how the rainforest jasper looks like a tiny aerial view of the jungle, the rhodonite has that perfect cotton-candy pink, and the bloodstone has those deep green vibes!
