How many times have I heardā€¦ā€It donā€™t need much!ā€ All it needs is hemming, BUT to hem a dress or most anything else, first it has to be taken apart! In cases like this a razor blade is my best friend!

My favorite way to hem a dress! Cut the dress and the lining off, turn wrong sides out with right sides together and hem! Donā€™t forget to leave an opening to turn dress back through! šŸ˜‰

Another sweet sentimental project completed! I was asked to make a nightgown into an open robe and a mumu into a spaghetti strap nightgown for a bride to wear while getting her hair and makeup done. These were her grandmotherā€™s gowns. ā¤ļøā¤ļø
