This dress didn’t fit, so I removed the zipper down to the waist and added a corset to the bodice. Fit perfect!

When I’m asked to hem a garment I don’t just turn the bottom up and hem unless that’s the “best” way to do it. I measure and mark where the new hem needs to be…then I start taking apart, cut off and replace the hem to look like the original hem.
