Sales Associates are responsible for sales generation, effective customer service, shrinkage, cash wrap service, merchandising and administration. All activities must be in strict compliance with all Cato Corporation policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

Primary Job Responsibilities
A. Sales Generation/Customer Service (Function Weighting 55%)
B. Loss Prevention (Function Weighting 20%)
C. Cash Wrap Service (Function Weighting 10%)
D. Merchandising (Function Weighting 10%)
E. Administration (Function Weighting 5%)

Skills, Experience and Training Required
A. Minimum age: 18 years old.
B. One-year minimum retail or cashiering experience (or solid references).
C. Successful completion of the Cato Corporation Sales Associate training program

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.00per hour and up depending on experience. 

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Weekend availability
