Important information for our Carolina Marina community:

Duke Energy will begin spillway repairs at Belews Lake starting May 4, 2026. To support this work, lake levels will be lowered by approximately 7 inches beginning April 27.

This is a temporary adjustment, with repairs expected to be completed by early August.

If your boat is tied to a dock, please plan accordingly.

We’ll share updates as they become available.

The Belews Lake Sprint Triathlon returns to Carolina Marina today, Saturday, April 18. Please note:

The boat ramp will be closed from 5:00am until 1:00pm.

We encourage you to limit your travels at the Marina during this time as runners and bikers will be on the roads. It would be best if you could avoid coming to the Marina until after 1pm.

Please be patient and drive extremely slowly if you must venture out. Please follow the volunteers' directions.
