There is something so elegant about the simplicity of this dress. The color is gorgeous and the fabric feels magical. It now fits this young lady perfectly. Not only did I hem it but shortened the straps, took it in at the sides of the bodice and brought the front of the bodice closer together for better comfort and coverage. This beautiful young lady is ready to dance it up at prom!

Check out thus stunning blue beaded dress. The contrast of the white dress with blue beading is eye catching, but the giant bow really makes this dress. Of course the young model is just as stunning. All I had to do was hem the length of the bow ribbons, add a couple hook and eyes to keep bow straight on the back and I added a French bustle. I also turned under the hem about half an inch to keep it just off the floor.

It’s nice to have a break from prom dresses this time of year. Black dress was taken in at the bustline, brown and white was taken in at the sides, black checked dress just needed buttons to be sewn on tighter and white with rose flower dress was taken in and I fixed the hem that was falling down.

It’s not always about the prom dresses, sometimes it’s the prom pants that need altered!
