Meet Fiona Connery : Thea Porter devotee, dog lover, fashion maven, gorgeous human. Fiona and I were discussing apropos of a different garment when I mentioned that I happened to have a rare “Gypsy dress” for sale that I had only showed one other person. The dress she is wearing in these photos IS that dress. And as it turns out, it had been on her Pinterest boards for years and a “holy grail” vintage piece for her. What are the chances? Matching the dress to the woman is one of the things I live for!

In honor of the GREAT and his birthday - I’m posting a couple of gems from the studio. McQueen was magic - he trafficked in archetypal energies such as animal totems, nature, goddesses from all traditions, concepts and ideas associated with The Great Work but most of all, he pulled from the universal collective unconscious. His work was a wild ride and to put on a McQueen anything, is an experience of transcendence.

This here is a gold Oroton metal mesh ensemble - from one of his most remarkable and memorable collections: F/W 1994. was a once-in-lifetime visionary and a genius and had the gift of being able to do it all: color, print, pattern, pattern on pattern, evening, day, and CUT. But he was more than that - he was a VIBE. He made you feel. His work radiated joy. He was the definition of “maestro.” But what always jumps out at me the most is that he truly loved women - it was his pleasure to adorn us and make us feel beautiful and sexy. It always sickens me to think of his tragic murder and senseless death - he should still be here with us shining his bright light out into the world. Available on Link in bio. #

I got that ten again the morning and headed to for a nova, cream cheese and bagel. This is a superior product - the ratio of cream cheese to nova is perfection. It was gone in 60 seconds. Thank you Mr. Kaplan!

We are joining over 30 vintage dealers who will be selling all weekend - each dealer will go live for 30 minutes on their IG feed, showcasing their collection.
