Would Jesus bomb Gaza?
Aren't Christian's quite literally "Christ-ian", comparable to how someone from Florida is a "Florida-ian"? Are they truly of Christ in spirit, or are they just here on Earth with no intangible direction?
You can have a Floridian in Florida, but you can also have someone who is just... there. With 0 affiliation to Florida as a state or as a culture, with 0 desire to live in a manner that improves Florida.
They may even become detrimental to Florida. What would happen if they saw how passionate Floridian's were about Florida, and decided to claim they too, were Floridian? What if they created temples dedicated to worshipping Florida, but didn't use the funds in accordance to the betterment of Florida? What if they were just... there. Like a black hole.
Would someone raised in a Christian church understand their religion has been hijacked?
Or would such a thought be considered blasphemy? If so, would that not cement such?
