Hello All, I would like to give some updates being that I have been inactive for a good while now. During the end of last year my mental health declined drastically, rendering me unable to do basic daily life tasks and also work. I became very isolated and tried my best to hide this from people around me. During this time also, I had been witnessing and experiencing major family and financial issues, causing my depression to be worse. In addition to that, unfortunately my dad passed away on April 6th. I have battled with depression for about 13 years now and these last few months have really tested me and taught me that I can get through anything. The pain that I have been facing back to back to back has only made me realize that life is too short to waste time. You never know what can or will happen. My heart hurts tremendously but I know I will get though this I know it. I will be revamping everything and taking care of anything that I’ve missed while away. I am sorry for pulling away and not communicating more, it’s been a lot of things to work through in my head and in life so I’m just trying my best. More updates coming soon.

SUFFOLK FARMERS’ MARKET, MID-SEASON UPDATE:
East Washington Street “Pop-Up” Market

Suffolk Tourism is pleased to add an East Washington Street “Pop-Up” Farmers’ Market, 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, beginning August 9, 2022. This mini-market will be situated at the corner of East Washington Street and Tynes Street.

This is in addition to the mid-week Wednesdays Farmers’ Market under the Suffolk Visitor Center Pavilion that will continue operating from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., through August 31, 2022. And of course, the regular Suffolk Farmers’ Market continues every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. through November 19, 2002. Set at the Suffolk Visitor Pavilion, 524 North Main Street in downtown Suffolk, market goers will find locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meats and poultry, eggs, jellies, jams, honey, pickles and handmade artisan crafts. A variety of family-friendly programming is offered throughout the market season, including live music, petting zoos, exhibits, arts & crafts, face painting, balloon animals, etc. As with all market activities, admission is free and open to the public.
