Memorial Day weekend is practically knocking on our door. It means different things to different people: for some, it’s a solemn time of remembrance; for others, it’s the official kickoff to pretending we know how to operate a charcoal grill. Whatever it means to you, please stay safe out there.
​Now, we know a lot of you plan on celebrating with some "liquid refreshments." We don't sell alcohol here—mostly because they won't trust us with a liquor license—but we do have plenty of treasures to help you celebrate.
​Speaking of liquid refreshments, poured one out lately? Because if you haven't heard, Schlitz—the iconic "Beer that Made Milwaukee Famous" and once the undisputed heavyweight champion of the brewery world—is officially being discontinued after a whopping 177 years. RIP to a legend.
​But dry your tears! While you can no longer drink the beer, you can season your burgers with its memory. As luck would have all of us, we have a spectacular, vintage set of Schlitz salt and pepper shakers up for adoption right now.
​They don't contain alcohol, but they will make your dining room table look 100% more historic. Come on in, check 'em out, and give these little guys a good home before they become a piece of forgotten ancient history!
