Today I introduce to you, an Ash Bucket or
Coal Scuttle. ✨

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫?
• 𝙰𝚜𝚑 𝚋𝚞𝚌𝚔𝚎𝚝 | 𝙲𝚘𝚊𝚕 𝚜𝚌𝚞𝚝𝚝𝚕𝚎
These were used for disposing of ashes from fire places and wood stoves.
Made of metal because often the ashes still had embers.

This scuttle is circa 1950’s.
This particular ash bucket is unique because of its Cornish handles with deft blue design 💙
