I've been a rock climber for about 6 years and have recently been inspired by the fashion trends within the climbing community during the eighties. Being an 80's kid myself, the bright colors and lovably garish patterns are a happy reminder of the idols of my youth. I am hoping these spandex tights inspire the wearer to conquer the wall the way Thundercats triumphed over evil - in style.

Dynotights is beyond stoked to introduce the new African series! Over the next few months, we'll be releasing four designs representative of four major regions of Africa. This series began with a conversation with Dr. Imani Cheers ( ) who had the amazing idea to bring the bold and vibrant designs of Africa to Dynotights.

Among many other achievements, Dr. Cheers is the founder of It Takes a Village - a multimedia project celebrating black masculinity. Her project, examines how social media impacts the public and mental health of both content creators and the broader Black community. Give it a follow to show your support and stay up to date with all of the happenings!

This first design was inspired by the patterns from the Ndebele tribe of South Africa and was drawn by an African artist named Awoyemi Aworinkoye. We know that the incredible Dynotights community will love these bright colors and meaningful culture. With this series, we will contribute a portion of the profits to in support of inclusivity and diversity in the outdoors.

Reminiscing about our time at 😍 The club is pretty much at the crag - you can see the climbing wall from your campsite, and there's a river to shower in at the end of the day. Doesn't get much better than that!
