This dress went home today! After shortening all the underlayers to floor length, I made small tucks at the front of the lace layer so she can walk (and not have the lace be cut off). I fixed her modesty panel at the lace-up back to fit better and added a 3-point bustle for the train. Today the bride came to pick it up with her mother, grandmother, AND great-grandmother! They all had a wonderful time with the dress, trying on jewelry, and the veil with a family-heirloom headpiece!

Here’s a sample-sale dress that came in with broken-up buttons and button-loops. The loops and buttons have now been replaced, with the dress ready for alterations!
